Regular Season Round 10: Slask 3 - Rydzyna 52-73

Very expected game in Wroclaw where 8th ranked Slask 3 (3-6) was crushed by second ranked Rycerze (7-1) 73-52 on Saturday. Rycerze forced 25 Slask 3 turnovers. Power forward Maciej Rostalski (198-90) had a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Mateusz Brek (192-94) chipped in 9 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. At the losing side Anton Azimka (199-2) responded with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 16 rebounds and forward Mikolaj Wojciechowski (195-4) scored 15 points and 6 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Rycerze keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Notec Inowr. and Zary. Slask 3 at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the eighth place with six games lost. Rycerze will face Nysa (#8) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Slask 3 will play against Pleszew and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
