We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 7th ranked Gazelles (2-3) lost to eighth ranked Roche (3-4) in Montpellier 74-78. Roche dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Gazelles' 28. International Ornella Bankole (181-97) fired 17 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. American forward Tiffany Clarke (183-91, college: Vanderbilt) chipped in 21 points and 5 rebounds. Belgian point guard Julie Allemand (173-96, agency: LBM Management) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 assists and American forward Cheyenne Parker (193-92, college: MTSU) added 15 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Roche moved-up to seventh place. Gazelles at the other side dropped to the eighth position with three games lost. Roche's next round opponent will be Charnay (#9) in Charnay-les-Macon. Gazelles will play on the road against Villeneuve D'Ascq and hope to win that game.
