Regular Season Round 8: Ardoi - Ferrol 58-68

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Ardoi (6-1) at the home court on Sunday night. Hosts were defeated by Ferrol (8-0) 68-58. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Ardoi. Ferrol forced 20 Ardoi turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Patricia Cabrera (174-91) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and Argentinian Andrea Boquete (183-90) who added 11 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Ferrol's coach Lino Lopez used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Ferrol have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain first position in Group A with 8-0 record. Ardoi at the other side keeps the second place with one game lost. Ferrol are looking forward to face GDKO Bizkaia (#4) in Galdakao in the next round. Ardoi will play on the road against Coruna and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
