The game in Hiroshima was also quite interesting. Sixth ranked Shiga L-Stars (7-9) played at the court of 8th ranked Dragonflies (4-12). Shiga L-Stars defeated Dragonflies 109-97 on Wednesday. Shiga L-Stars shot 61.3 percent from the field and made 18-of-20 free shots (90.0 percent) during the game. They shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 53.6 percentage. Shiga L-Stars looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Jordan Hamilton (201-90, college: Texas) who helped to win the game recording 30 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists and swingman Tomonori Imagawa (195-96) who added 16 points and 5 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) during the contest. Shiga L-Stars' coach Shawn Dennis used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side American forward Thomas Kennedy (201-87, college: Detroit) responded with 25 points and his fellow American import power forward Jamari Traylor (203-92, college: Kansas) scored 18 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Five Shiga L-Stars and four Dragonflies players scored in double figures. Shiga L-Stars moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Osaka E. Dragonflies lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keep the eighth position with 12 games lost. Shiga L-Stars will face league's second-placed Aishin Sea Horses in Kariya in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Dragonflies will play on the road against Akita Happinets (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
