The game with biggest difference of round 12 in Premijer Liga was host Sibenik's (4-5) easy victory at home over one of their biggest challengers Split (7-4) 111-96 on Wednesday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Split. Sibenik shot 60.9 percent from the field and made 19-of-20 free shots (95.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was American point guard Trey Freeman (189-92, college: ODU) who scored 24 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Slovenian swingman Blaz Mesicek (197-97) who recorded 24 points and 5 rebounds and Serbian Marko Lukovic (207-92, agency: BeoBasket) added 15 points respectively. Five Sibenik and four Split players scored in double figures. Sibenik moved-up to sixth place. Split at the other side dropped to the fifth position with four games lost. Sibenik are looking forward to face higher ranked Borik Puntamika (#3) in Zadar in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Split will have a break next round.
