Superliga top team - Peja (4-0) had no problems winning another game on Wednesday. This time they beat seventh ranked Bashkimi (1-4) 76-59. Peja made 21-of-24 free shots (87.5 percent) during the game. Peja outrebounded Bashkimi 47-36 including 38 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international Dardan Berisha (191-88) who helped to win the game recording 26 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Montenegrin center Marko Perovic (204-92, agency: 011 Sports) contributed with 16 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. International point guard Musab Malaj (185-96) answered with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and American guard Sean Hoehn (188, college: Sacred Heart) added 17 points and 6 steals in the effort for Bashkimi. Peja have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place with 4-0 record. Bashkimi lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with four games lost. They share it with Vellaznimi. Peja are looking forward to face Prishtina (#6) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Bashkimi will play against Trepca/AS in Mitrovice and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
