No shocking result in a game when ninth ranked UniFacisa (4-4) beat 15th ranked Cerrado (1-7) in Brasilia 75-67. Forward Alexandre Paranhos (204-92) fired 17 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. The former international Betinho Duarte (195-88) chipped in 9 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. American JC Fuller (194-94, college: W.Illinois, agency: Slash Sports) produced 19 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists and Douglas Nunes (209-87) added 10 points and 12 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. UniFacisa have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to eighth place. Cerrado lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the fourteenth position with seven games lost. UniFacisa's next round opponent will be Mogi (#10) in Mogi das Cruzes. Cerrado will play on the road against Pinheiros (#16) in Sao Paulo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
