There was no surprise when 10th ranked Broni (2-7) lost at home to seventh ranked Ragusa (5-2) 75-61. Ragusa outrebounded Broni 41-24 including a 31-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Finnish-Egyptian center Awak Kuier (195-1) scored 14 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Croatian center Ivana Tikvic (194-94, agency: LBM Management) chipped in 14 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side swingman Marida Orazzo (174-94, agency: LBM Management) responded with 24 points and 6 rebounds and the former international power forward Sara Madera (187-0) scored 16 points and 6 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field).
