Date: December 3, 2020
Not a big story in a game when 11th ranked Pato Basquete (2-5) was outscored by fourth ranked Vivo/Franca (5-2) in Pato Branco 86-64. Vivo/Franca made 24-of-28 charity shots (85.7 percent) during the game, while Pato Basquete only scored eight points from the stripe. They outrebounded Pato Basquete 50-25 including a 41-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. 26 personal fouls committed by Pato Basquete helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The former international Andre Bresolin (195-87) fired 21 points (made all of his nine free throws !!!) for the winners. Point guard Augusto Leao (184-98) produced 11 points and guard Gabriel Servelin (191-96) added 12 points respectively for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Vivo/Franca have an impressive five-game winning streak. Despite that victory Vivo/Franca went down to sixth position due to points difference. Pato Basquete lost third consecutive game. They keep the eleventh place with five games lost. Vivo/Franca's next round opponent will be Brasilia (#14) at home and are hoping to win another game. Pato Basquete will play against Paulistano in Sao Paulo and hope to win that game.
