Regular Season Round 9: Boras - BC Lulea 81-86

The game between second ranked Boras Basket (5-4) and fourth ranked BC Lulea (5-3) was the most important one in the last round on Friday night. Boras Basket was defeated by BC Lulea in a tough game in Boras 81-86. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Boras Basket. The guests trailed by 6 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 7-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 86-81. It was a good game for American swingman AJ Davis (206-95, college: UCF) who led his team to a victory with 24 points and 5 rebounds. The former international center Adam Ronnqvist (181-90) contributed with 22 points and 4 assists for the winners. American center DeAndre Davis (203-94, college: Alcorn St.) answered with 29 points and 7 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) and international William Gutenius (205-92) added 14 points and 15 rebounds in the effort for Boras Basket. Four Boras Basket players scored in double figures. BC Lulea moved-up to third place. Defending champion Boras Basket dropped to the fourth position with four games lost. BC Lulea are looking forward to face Koping Stars (#7) at home in the next round. Boras Basket will play against Fryshuset in Stockholm and is hoping to win this game.
