Top ranked Hapoel Eilat (5-2) recorded its second loss at the home court on Saturday night. Hosts were rolled over by leader Hapoel Jerusalem (5-0) 100-79. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Hapoel Eilat. The game without a history. Hapoel Jerusalem led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. Hapoel Jerusalem looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. American guard Chris Kramer (191-88, college: Purdue) fired 20 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals for the winners. Nigerian power forward Suleiman Braimoh (203-89, college: Rice) chipped in 14 points and 8 rebounds. Five Hapoel Jerusalem players scored in double figures. American swingman Casey Prather (198-91, college: Florida) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds and American-Liberian point guard Joe Ragland (182-89, college: Wichita St.) added 19 points and 5 assists respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Hapoel Jerusalem have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Maccabi T-A. Hapoel Eilat at the other side dropped to the fourth position with two games lost. Hapoel Jerusalem is looking forward to face bottom-ranked Bnei Hasharon (#13) in Hod Hasharon in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Hapoel Eilat will play on the road against Maccabi Haifa (#9) and is hoping to win this game.
