Round in LEB Silver means a new league leader. The biggest surprise took place in Alcobendas where host Alcobendas (2-5) beat league's leader Estela (5-1) 85-71 on Saturday evening. 26 personal fouls committed by Estela helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was American guard Jahvaughn Powell (183-96, college: Nicholls St.) who scored 23 points and 6 assists. Croatian center Filip Krajina (209-95) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 13 rebounds. Naturalized Equatorial Guinean forward Walter Cabral (200-95, agency: Dynamics Global Management) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and American point guard William Perry (180-94, college: Lenoir-Rhyne) added 11 points and 6 assists respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Newly promoted Alcobendas maintains tenth position in Silver with 2-5 record. Estela at the other side dropped to the third place with one game lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by FC Barcelona 2. Estela will play next round against Moron trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Alcobendas will try to continue on its current victory against eleventh ranked Algeciras at home.
