An interesting game took place in Girona where 4th placed Real Murcia (3-4) was upset on the court of tenth ranked Girona (2-5) 75-63 on Saturday. It was a great evening for Latvian center Davis Rozitis (215-90, college: Hawaii) who led his team to a victory scoring 13 points and 8 rebounds. Robert Cosialls (203-96) helped adding 10 points and 5 rebounds. Rozitis is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the losing side Nigerian forward Jeffrey Solarin (193-92, college: Idaho St.) responded with 13 points and 5 rebounds and American swingman Andre Norris (201-94, college: Dubuque, agency: Duran International) scored 10 points and 7 rebounds. Four Real Murcia players scored in double figures. Girona moved-up to seventh place in Gold. Real Murcia at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the fifth position with four games lost. Girona will face Real Canoe (#9) in Madrid in the next round. Real Murcia will play at home against the league's second-placed HLA Alicante (#2) having rather not much hope for a victory.
