Another exciting game was between fifth ranked Umbertide and one of their biggest challengers San Salvatore where Umbertide (7-2) beat San Salvatore (6-3) on the road 76-68. It was a key game for the second position in A2. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Federica Pompei (162-98) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 6 assists. Forward Federica Giudice (182-0) contributed with 15 points for the winners. Umbertide's coach Michele Staccini allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Forward Giulia Manzotti (179-93) replied with 27 points and 9 rebounds and swingman Marta Granzotto (173-92) added 16 points and 5 assists in the effort for San Salvatore. Umbertide moved-up to second place in A2. San Salvatore at the other side dropped to the fifth position with three games lost.
