Everything went according to plan when fourth ranked Kumamoto V. (9-7) beat at home 7th ranked Tokyo Z (3-15) 87-81 on Saturday. Kumamoto V. looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American power forward Evan Ravenel (204-89, college: Ohio St.) had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Lebanese-American point guard Marvelle Harris (196-93, college: Fresno St., agency: Slash Sports) chipped in 21 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was the former international guard Yusuke Okada (185-84) with 31 points and American power forward Alex Jones (206-87, college: Seattle) scored 23 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Kumamoto V. maintains fourth position with 9-7 record. Loser Tokyo Z keeps the seventh place with 15 games lost.
