Regular Season Round 11: Rydzyna - Nysa 79-95

There was a surprise result in Rydzyna where eighth ranked Nysa (4-6) won against leader Rycerze (7-2) 95-79 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was Michal Wielechowski (198-94) who scored 22 points and 5 rebounds. Power forward Rafal Malitka (205-91) chipped in 20 points and 6 rebounds. Power forward Maciej Rostalski (198-90) produced 22 points and 9 rebounds and center Szymon Milczynski (204-93) added 15 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Four Nysa and five Rycerze players scored in double figures. Nysa maintains eighth place with 4-6 record, which they share with 3 other teams. Newly promoted Rycerze still keeps top position with two games lost. Nysa will face higher ranked Pleszew (#6) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Rycerze will play against Koscian (#9) and hope to win that game.
