No shocking result in a game in Minsk where leader Borisfen (9-0) smashed 9th ranked RGUOR (2-5) 103-48. The game was mostly controlled by Borisfen. RGUOR was better in third quarter 19-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to RGUOR's 24. Borisfen forced 38 RGUOR turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by RGUOR's players. International swingman Uladzislau Mikulski (196-98) nailed 16 points and 6 assists for the winning side and Ilya Sharipov (198-91) accounted for 19 points and 4 steals. Four Borisfen players scored in double figures. Forward Ivan Balduev (196-4) came up with 8 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Daniil Kosko (189-4) added 11 points respectively for RGUOR in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. The victory was the ninth consecutive win for Borisfen. They maintain second place with 9-0 record behind leader Grodno. RGUOR at the other side keeps the ninth position with five games lost. Borisfen's next round opponent will be bottom-ranked SDUSHOR (#11) in Minsk and are hoping to win another game. RGUOR will play on the road against Gomel and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
