Regular Season Round 13: Klodzko - Czarni 70-98

Second ranked Czarni blasted bottom-ranked Klodzko (0-12) in Klodzko 98-70. Klodzko is still unable to win any game. Czarni dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Klodzko's 26. They outrebounded Klodzko 40-19 including a 28-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of center Dawid Slupinski (206-92) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Guard Adrian Kordalski (185-95) contributed with 10 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. Karol Nowakowski (198-99) answered with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Tomasz Ochonko (183-86) added 18 points in the effort for Klodzko. Four Czarni and five Klodzko players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Czarni. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Walbrzych. Klodzko lost their twelfth game in a row. They still close the standings with 12 games lost. Czarni's next round opponent will be Slask 2 (#5) in Wroclaw. Klodzko will play at home against Pruszkow (#13) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
