No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Lublin (7-3) crushed at home 9th ranked Poznan (3-7) 83-63 on Saturday. Lublin forced 20 Poznan turnovers. American-Puerto Rican point guard Jennifer ONeill (165-90, college: Kentucky, agency: LBM Management) notched 21 points (made all of her seven free throws) to lead the effort and American forward Morgan Bertsch (193, college: UC Davis, agency: LBM Management) supported her with 19 points. Even 13 points and 6 assists by American point guard Tiffany Brown (168-86, college: Georgia South) did not help to save the game for Poznan. Serbian point guard Jovana Popovic (173-90) added 12 points for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Lublin have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 7-3 record. Poznan lost seventh consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth place with seven games lost. They share the position with Wroclaw. Lublin will meet Wroclaw (#8) on the road in the next round. Poznan will play against Pol.Gdansk and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
