Regular Season Round 10: Ammerud Bskt - Tromso 79-101

There was a minor upset in Oslo where 6th ranked Ammerud Bskt (4-6) was rolled over by eighth ranked Tromso (5-8) 101-79 on Sunday. American-Nigerian forward Anthony Elechi (203-93, college: Morehead St.) scored 29 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American-Jamaican power forward Phil Henry (203-91, college: ENMU) chipped in 25 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Worth to mention Elechi played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped get the job in pro basketball. At the losing side American power forward Joshua Sykes (203, college: Fresno City) responded with 19 points and 9 rebounds and Swedish swingman Mustafa Dibba (186-95) scored 19 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Tromso moved-up to seventh place. Loser Ammerud Bskt dropped to the eighth position with six games lost. Tromso will meet at home higher ranked Baerum Basket (#4) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Ammerud Bskt will play against Nidaros Jets (#9) in Tromdheim and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
