Regular Season Round 10: Baerum Basket - Fyllingen BBK 86-96

Another exciting game was played in Bekkestua between seventh ranked Fyllingen BBK and 4th ranked Baerum Basket where Fyllingen BBK (5-7) won against Baerum Basket (8-4) on the road 96-86. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Baerum Basket. Baerum Basket was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Magne Fivelstad (198-89, college: Barry) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 29 points and 12 rebounds. Point guard Jordon Harris (180-96, college: ULM) contributed with 26 points and 5 assists for the winners. The former international forward Sjur Berg (201-96, college: Alaska-Anch.) replied with a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds and Canadian forward Yannick Anzuluni (205-87, college: Houghton) added 16 points, 17 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Baerum Basket. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Fyllingen BBK moved-up to sixth place. Baerum Basket at the other side keeps the fourth position with four games lost. Fyllingen BBK will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Baerum Basket will play on the road against Tromso (#7) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
