Regular Season Round 7: Tskhum-Abkhazeti - Dinamo 117-83

The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Tbilisi: Tskhum-Abkhazeti (#7) and Dinamo (#4). Tskhum-Abkhazeti (3-2) crushed visiting Dinamo (2-2) by 34 points 117-83. The game without a history. Tskhum-Abkhazeti led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 28-of-35 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Tskhum-Abkhazeti outrebounded Dinamo 46-24 including a 31-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 65.2 percentage. Tskhum-Abkhazeti looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. 28 personal fouls committed by Dinamo helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Tyler Green (175-98, college: MSUB) who helped to win the game recording 28 points and 4 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). The former international center Giorgi Sharabidze (210-90) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. International point guard Luka Bulashvili (192-98) answered with 12 points and 9 assists and power forward Lasha Mikeladze (201-1) added 17 points in the effort for Dinamo. Five Tskhum-Abkhazeti and four Dinamo players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tskhum-Abkhazeti moved-up to fourth place. Dinamo at the other side dropped to the fifth position with two games lost. They share it with Titebi. Tskhum-Abkhazeti are looking forward to face Batumi (#7) on the road in the next round. Dinamo will play against the league's leader Kutaisi and is hoping to win this game.
