Regular Season Round 13: TalTech - Kalev/TLU 88-67
Date: December 6, 2020
There was no surprise in Tallinn where 12th ranked Kalev/TLU (1-10) was outplayed by tenth ranked TalTech (4-7) 88-67 on Sunday. TalTech looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The former international Jaan Puidet (194-92, agency: Players Group) stepped up and scored 17 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and the former international Erik Keedus (198-90, agency: Players Group) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds. At the losing side American Brandis Raley-Ross (190-87, college: S.Carolina) responded with 19 points and 9 rebounds and the other American import Jeremy McLaughlin (203-95, college: Catawba) scored 13 points and 8 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. TalTech maintains tenth place with 4-7 record. Kalev/TLU lost their eighth game in a row. They keep the twelfth position with ten games lost. TalTech will face higher ranked Rapla (#5) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Kalev/TLU will play against the league's second-placed Parnu (#2) having rather not much hope for a victory.
