Regular Season Round 13: Pruszkow - Tychy 86-80

An interesting game took place in Pruszkow where 4th placed Tychy (8-5) was upset on the court of fifteenth ranked Pruszkow (5-8) 86-80 on Sunday. Pruszkow forced 31 Tychy turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Power forward Mateusz Szwed (200-91) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 13 rebounds, 7 assists and 6 steals for the winners and point guard January Sobczak (177-97) chipped in 23 points and 6 assists. At the losing side center Przemyslaw Wrona (205-93) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and power forward Patryk Kedel (201-99) scored 22 points and 6 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Pruszkow moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Tychy keeps the fourth position with five games lost. Pruszkow will face bottom-ranked Klodzko (#16) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Tychy will play against Lowicz (#9) and hope to win that game.
