Regular Season Round 2: Fiorenzuola - Olginate 89-72

There was a minor upset when Olginate was defeated on the road by Fiorenzuola 89-72 on Sunday. Strangely Olginate outrebounded Fiorenzuola 43-31 including a 18-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was guard Andrea Maggiotto (190-88, agency: SLN) who scored 21 points and 4 assists. Forward Federico Ricci (196-97) chipped in 16 points and 8 rebounds. Power forward Giovanni Lenti (200-96) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 17 rebounds and Patrick Avanzini (195-96) added 18 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Fiorenzuola will face Vigevano on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Olginate will play against Varese and hope to win that game.
