Very expected game when 10th ranked Broni (2-7) was smashed at home by second ranked Bologna (9-1) 81-59. Bologna dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Broni's 32. They outrebounded Broni 45-31 including 33 on the defensive glass. Australian center Abby Bishop (189-88) had a double-double by scoring 26 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American swingman Brooque Williams (172-89, college: California, PA) chipped in 18 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side the former international power forward Sara Madera (187-0) responded with 11 points and 9 rebounds and Puerto Rican center Sofia Roma (188-96, college: Duke) scored 10 points and 8 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Bologna have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 9-1 record behind leader Venezia. Broni lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the eleventh place with seven games lost.
