Regular Season Round 17: Foshan - Henan 73-102

Foshan (#5) was upset in Foshan by eighth ranked Henan 102-73. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Foshan. Henan forced 22 Foshan turnovers. Power forward Junhu Lu (205-99) nailed a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 12 rebounds for the winning side and guard Hao Jia (190-99) accounted for 28 points and 9 rebounds. Four Henan players scored in double figures. Center QI Liu (205-96) came up with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds and Shuai Song (196-96) added 17 points respectively for Foshan in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Henan maintains eighth place with 6-9 record. Newly promoted Foshan keeps the fifth position with six games lost. Henan will play against higher ranked Shaanxi (#3) in Xian in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Foshan will play against Wuhan and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
