Not a big story in a game when 7th ranked Azulejos (3-5) lost at home to third ranked Lima-Horta (6-1) 57-51 on Tuesday. Lima-Horta forced 24 Azulejos turnovers. Quite impressive performance for guard Eliana Soriano (176-89) who helped to win the game recording 10 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. Guard Vanesa Verbo (174-94) contributed with 10 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Ana Hernando (-90) replied with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 13 rebounds and Eva Lacort (-89) added 10 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Azulejos. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Lima-Horta maintains third position in Group C with 6-1 record having seven points less than leader Ferrol. Azulejos lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the ninth place with five games lost. Lima-Horta will face Sant Adria (#6) at home in the next round.
