Regular Season Round 19: Handlova - Inter Bratislava 76-95

Another interesting game for Inter Bratislava (4-8) which played on the court of 6th ranked Handlova (3-9). Seventh ranked Inter Bratislava had an easy win 95-76. It was a great shooting night for Inter Bratislava especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. Handlova was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for the former international Richard Korner (201-90, agency: 011 Sports) who led his team to a victory scoring 28 points and 6 rebounds. Argentinian point guard Lautaro Lopez (190-99) helped adding 19 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Four Inter Bratislava players scored in double figures. At the losing side Montenegrin point guard Goran Bulatovic (186-88) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 6 rebounds and 11 assists and Montenegrin guard Nikola Rakocevic (191-91) scored 21 points. Handlova's coach Danilo Rakocevic rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Defending champion moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Prievidza. Handlova lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom position with nine games lost. Inter Bratislava will play against higher ranked Iskra Svit (#4) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Handlova will play against the league's leader Levice and hopes to get back on the winning track.
