There was no surprise when 12th ranked Kalev/TLU (1-12) was defeated on the road by ninth ranked Tartu (5-8) 79-73 on Wednesday. Kalev/TLU was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was Lithuanian Tomas Balciunas (204-0) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 17 rebounds. Swedish point guard Charles Barton (193-92, college: Oregon St.) chipped in 19 points and 4 assists. Four Tartu players scored in double figures. American Brandis Raley-Ross (190-87, college: S.Carolina) produced 29 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and Mario Paiste (188-89) added 10 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. Despite that victory Tartu went down to tenth position due to points difference. Kalev/TLU lost tenth consecutive game. They keep the twelfth place with 12 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
