Regular Season Round 14: Dziki Wwa - Klodzko 92-60

Bottom-ranked Klodzko (0-14) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 92-60 loss to fifth ranked Dziki Wwa (8-6) in Warszawa. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Klodzko's 28. Dziki Wwa forced 29 Klodzko turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. Point guard Patryk Gospodarek (184-94, agency: Octagon Europe) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points and 6 assists. Swingman Michal Wojtynski (193-89) contributed with 10 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Four Dziki Wwa players scored in double figures. Dziki Wwa's coach Pawel Turkiewicz felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Karol Nowakowski (198-99) replied with 15 points and 8 rebounds and forward Pawel Nowicki (201-92) added 12 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Klodzko. Dziki Wwa have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Lancut and Tychy. Klodzko at the other side still closes the standings with 14 games lost. Dziki Wwa will play against league's leader Gornik in Walbrzych in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Klodzko will play on the road against Lowicz (#8) and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
