The game between sixth ranked Flame (9-4) and 14th ranked Red Wolves (2-12) in Taiyuan on Friday ended with biggest points difference. Flame outscored guests from Weinan 98-62. Flame dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Red Wolves' 20 and made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Red Wolves 47-26 including a 31-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Flame looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Center Jinqiu Fu (188-96) notched a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 rebounds to lead the effort and the former international Jiacen Liu (193-89) supported her with 19 points and 4 assists. Five Flame players scored in double figures. Even 16 points and 6 rebounds by guard Yuyu Chen (170-94) did not help to save the game for Red Wolves. Guard Zhou Yueming (170-99) added 16 points for the guests. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
