Regular Season Round 20: Yokohama BC - Shinshu BW 75-57

There was a minor upset when 6th ranked Shinshu BW (7-13) was defeated on the road by ninth ranked Yokohama BC (6-14) 75-57 on Saturday. Yokohama BC looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was Czech Patrik Auda (204-89, college: Seton Hall, agency: Octagon Europe) who scored 23 points and 5 rebounds. American forward Robert Carter (206-94, college: Maryland) chipped in 14 points and 6 rebounds. American center Wayne Marshall (211-86, college: Temple) produced 19 points and his fellow American import forward Josh Hawkinson (208-95, college: WSU, agency: Wasserman) added 5 points and 12 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Yokohama BC moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Niigata A. Shinshu BW lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the sixth position with 13 games lost. Yokohama BC will face again higher ranked Shinshu BW (#6) in Nagano in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
