LF2 top team - Barca CBS (10-0) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed twelfth ranked Andratx (1-7) in Barcelona 63-26. Barca CBS held Andratx to an opponent 23.3 percent shooting from the field compared to 41.3 percent accuracy of the winners. Barca CBS forced 25 Andratx turnovers and outrebounded them 36-24 including 22 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Andratx's players. It was a great evening for Ainhoa Lopez (180-97) who led her team to a victory scoring 19 points and 4 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Guard Marta Canella (178-95) helped adding 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Colombian forward Luz Asprilla (183-92) responded with 7 points and Tanit Calsapeu scored 6 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the tenth consecutive win for Barca CBS. They maintain first place in Group C with 10-0 record. Newly promoted Andratx dropped to the thirteenth position with seven games lost. Barca CBS's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Barcelona to the arena Maresme.
