Important game to mention about took place in Monaco. Top-ranked Strasbourg (5-0) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging 11th ranked Monaco (1-3) 77-75 on Saturday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. Strangely Monaco outrebounded Strasbourg 48-34 including a 17-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a good game for point guard Jayson Tchicamboud (186-2) who led his team to a victory with 18 points and 4 steals. Hugo Minning (196-2) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Boukhary Cissoko (198-0) replied with 16 points and 8 rebounds and Belgian Joel Ekamba-EyOombe (196-1) added 15 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Monaco. Five Strasbourg and four Monaco players scored in double figures. Strasbourg have an impressive five-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader. Monaco lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fourteenth place with three games lost. Strasbourg will play against Dijon (#6) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Monaco will play against Chalon (#9) to get more than just one victory in their record.
