Nanterre (2-1) recorded its first loss at the home court on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by thirteenth ranked Gravelines (2-3) 73-67. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Nanterre. Gravelines made 23-of-29 free shots (79.3 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 Nanterre turnovers. 28 personal fouls committed by Nanterre helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was Italian forward Krisley Castard (200-2) who scored 15 points. Power forward Craig-George Adzeh (207-3) chipped in 12 points and 6 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Victor Wembanyama (219-4) who recorded a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 6 blocks and Florian Fortas (190-0) added 19 points (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) respectively. Nanterre's coach rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Gravelines moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Orleans. Nanterre at the other side dropped to the eighth position with one game lost. Gravelines is looking forward to face Boulazac (#17) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Nanterre will play against Pau-Lacq-Orthez (#18) and is hoping to win this game.
