Undefeated leader Hapoel Jerusalem delivered the seventh consecutive victory on Saturday night. This time they beat bottom-ranked Bnei Hasharon (0-7) 96-86. Hapoel Jerusalem made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Worth to mention a quality performance of Nigerian power forward Suleiman Braimoh (203-89, college: Rice) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 5 rebounds and international power forward Idan Zalmanson (206-95, agency: Avi Zilberman) who added 14 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. American forward Coty Clarke (201-92, college: Arkansas) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and his fellow American import power forward Terell Parks (205-91, college: W.Illinois, agency: Octagon Europe) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. Five Hapoel Jerusalem and four Bnei Hasharon players scored in double figures. Bnei Hasharon's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Hapoel Jerusalem (7-0) have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain first position with a perfect record of 7 victories in a row. Newly promoted Bnei Hasharon still closes the standings with seven games lost. Hapoel Jerusalem will meet H.Haifa (#5) on the road in the next round.
