Regular Season Round 12: Rybnik - Tarn.Gory 72-95

There was no surprise when 12th ranked Rybnik (1-9) was outleveled at home by fourth ranked Tarn.Gory (7-4) 95-72 on Saturday. Tarn.Gory outrebounded Rybnik 40-26 including a 32-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Rybnik was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for forward Grzegorz Zadecki (195-84) who led his team to a victory with 22 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Point guard Bartlomiej Wroblewski (181-92) contributed with 18 points and 4 assists for the winners. Four Tarn.Gory players scored in double figures. The former international Marcin Sroka (201-81) replied with 13 points and forward Adam Bialdyga (197-87) added 11 points in the effort for Rybnik. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Tarn.Gory maintains fourth position with 7-4 record, which they share with Pleszew and Sudety. Loser Rybnik keeps the twelfth place with nine games lost. Tarn.Gory will face AZS PS Gliwice (#13) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Rybnik will play against Cracovia in Krakow and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
