Very predictable result when second ranked Ardoi (9-1) defeated on the road 13th ranked Rosalia (1-7) 68-61 on Saturday. It was a great evening for Argentinian center Diana Cabrera (184-93) who led her team to a victory scoring 14 points and 5 rebounds. The former international forward Amaya Gastaminza (189-91, college: Oregon St.) helped adding 11 points. Sara Corredoira (-0) responded with 13 points and 5 assists and Sarai Carro (-99) scored 15 points. Four Rosalia players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Ardoi. They maintain second place in Group A with 9-1 record having just three points less than leader Ferrol. Newly promoted Rosalia keeps the thirteenth position with seven games lost. Ardoi will face Arxil Pontevedra (#11) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Rosalia will play against the league's leader Ferrol and hope to win that game.
