An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Salamanca. Leader Perfumerias Avenida faced 3rd placed Argon Uni Girona. Host Perfumerias Avenida (15-0) defeated guests from Girona (12-2) 79-61. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Argon Uni Girona. The best player for the winners was American-British swingman Katie Samuelson (190-97, college: UConn, agency: Wasserman) who scored 22 points and 9 rebounds. Serbian center Nikolina Milic (191-94) chipped in 13 points and 5 rebounds. Perfumerias Avenida's coach Roberto Iniguez used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Chelsea Gray (180-92, college: Duke) who recorded 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Czech center Julia Reisingerova (194-98) added 15 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Perfumerias Avenida have an impressive series of fifteen victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 15-0 record. Argon Uni Girona at the other side keeps the third position with two games lost. Perfumerias Avenida are looking forward to face Maquinaria Ensino (#7) in Lugo in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game.
