Regular Season Round 3: Cremona - Piacenza 71-80

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when Cremona (2-1) lost at home to Piacenza (2-0) 80-71 on Saturday. It was a good game for power forward Michael Sacchettini (205-95, agency: SLN) who led his team to a victory with 18 points and 7 rebounds. Lorenzo De-Zardo (199-99, agency: Players Group) contributed with 17 points for the winners. Naturalized Latvian forward Gints Antrops (201-82) answered with 14 points and Dario Masciarelli (196-98) added 12 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Cremona. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Cremona's coach Simone Lottici tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Piacenza will face Pavia (#10) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Cremona will play against Varese (#15) and hope to win that game.
