Regular Season Round 21: Shiga L-Stars - Tochigi B. 87-73

Fourth defeat of league's leader Tochigi B. (17-4) against seventh ranked Shiga L-Stars (8-13) 87-73 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Tochigi B.. It was a good game for American forward Jordan Hamilton (201-90, college: Texas) who led his team to a victory with 31 points and 8 rebounds. Australian center Angus Brandt (208-89, college: Oregon St.) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. International forward Ryan Rossiter (204-89, college: Siena) answered with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds and American forward Jeffrey Gibbs (188-80, college: Otterbein) added 9 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Tochigi B.Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Shiga L-Stars moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Shimane SM and Shinshu BW. Tochigi B. at the other side dropped to the second position with four games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Chiba J.. Tochigi B. will play next round against Toyota Alvark trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Shiga L-Stars will try to continue on its current victory against third ranked Diamond Dolphins in Nagoya.
