There was an upset when 4th placed Pesaro (5-5) lost at home to sixteenth ranked Fortitudo BO (2-8) 78-70 on Sunday. American-Israeli Adrian Banks (191-86, college: Arkansas St.) orchestrated the victory by scoring 12 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. American power forward Ethan Happ (208-96, college: Wisconsin) contributed with 11 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Naturalized Argentinian Carlos Delfino (198-82) answered with 17 points and 5 assists and American-Haitian Frantz Massenat (193-92, college: Drexel) added 19 points in the effort for Pesaro. Four Pesaro players scored in double figures. Fortitudo BO moved-up to fourth place. Loser Pesaro dropped to the second position with five games lost. Fortitudo BO will face higher ranked Vanoli Cremona (#3) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
