An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Gunma. First ranked Gunma faced one of their biggest challengers Sendai 89ers. Host Gunma (20-2) defeated guests from Sendai (13-9) 79-66. Gunma players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Trey McKinney-Jones (198-90, college: Miami, FL) who helped to win the game recording 19 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Swingman Reiya Nozaki (185-95) contributed with 18 points and 4 steals for the winners. American center Daniel Miller (211-91, college: Georgia Tech) replied with 15 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and his fellow American import Eric Jacobsen (208-94, college: ASU) added 13 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Sendai 89ers.
