Regular Season Round 3: San Miniato - Empoli 77-69

There was no surprise when Use Basket (1-2) lost on the road to San Miniato (2-0) 77-69 on Sunday. San Miniato forced 19 Use Basket turnovers. It was a good game for forward Luca Tozzi (200-99) who led his team to a victory with 13 points and 8 rebounds. Center Antonio Lorenzetti (195-95) contributed with 15 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Guard Lorenzo Restelli (195-96) answered with 14 points and power forward Daniele Sesoldi (195-92) added 11 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Use Basket. Five San Miniato and four Use Basket players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. San Miniato will face Flying Balls (#12) in Ozzano dell Emilia in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Use Basket will play at home against Piombino (#13) and hope to win that game.
