The most shocking disappointment of round 4 was a home defeat of 3rd ranked Orthodox (1-3) to fourth ranked Al Wihdat (2-2) 76-72 in the game for the third place. Al Wihdat outrebounded Orthodox 43-32 including 18 on the offensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of international point guard Mahmoud Abdeen (191-87) who helped to win the game recording 29 points and 5 assists (made all of his eight free throws) and international guard Amin Abuhawwas (190-94, college: Mars Hill) who added 22 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Abuhawwas is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the losing side international guard Ashraf Alhendi (190-95) responded with 24 points and 4 assists and Yousef Al-Awamleh produced a double-double by scoring 13 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists. Defending champion moved-up to third place. Orthodox at the other side dropped to the fourth position with three games lost. They share it with Kofer Yoba. Al Wihdat are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Al Jalil (#6) in Irbid in the next round. Orthodox will play on the road against Kofer Yoba in Irbid and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
