Very predictable result in Castellon where sixth ranked Navarra (5-4) edged 11th ranked Benicarlo (4-6) 55-52 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was Bulgarian power forward Simeon Lepichev (206-95, college: FAU) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds. Power forward Adrian Garcia (202-85) chipped in 6 points and 8 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Serbian power forward Nemanja Djordjevic (203-95) who recorded 11 points and 7 rebounds and power forward Jaime Campos (197-98) added 4 points and 10 rebounds respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Navarra moved-up to fifth place in Silver. Loser Benicarlo dropped to the eighth position with six games lost. Navarra will face La Roda (#14) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Benicarlo will play against Cornella (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
