Important game to mention about took place in Trento. First ranked Trento (6-5) saved a 1-point victory at home edging 4th placed Cantu (3-7) 74-73 on Sunday evening. Trento made 17-of-22 charity shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Strangely Cantu outrebounded Trento 39-27 including 29 on the defensive glass. It was a great evening for American center JaCorey Williams (203-94, college: MTSU) who led his team to a victory scoring 25 points and 5 rebounds. American-Puerto Rican guard Gary Browne (185-93, college: WVU) helped adding 14 points and 6 assists. International swingman Andrea Pecchia (196-97) responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds and American forward ShaMarkus Kennedy (203-98, college: McNeese St.) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 13 rebounds. Four Cantu players scored in double figures. Trento maintains first place with 6-5 record. Cantu lost their third game in a row. They keep the fourth position with seven games lost. Trento will play against Trieste (#4) on the road in the next round. Cantu will play against Brescia and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
