Serie A1 top team - Venezia (11-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed fifth ranked Empoli (6-5) 103-52. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Empoli. Venezia dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Empoli's 30 and made 19-of-25 charity shots (76.0 percent) during the game. Venezia forced 29 Empoli turnovers and outrebounded them 37-18 including a 25-13 advantage in defensive rebounds.
