Regular Season Round 15: Wuhan - Heilongjiang 79-45

Wuhan has finally registered their first victory this season after 13 consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Dragons (1-13) 79-45. Wuhan forced 29 Dragons turnovers and outrebounded them 40-29 including a 17-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for center Wenxi Ha (188-97) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 14 rebounds. Guard Huaqian Peng (178-95) accounted for 19 points and 4 assists for the winning side. Guard Yuanjing Cao (178-1) came up with 15 points and forward Jing Wang (183-95) added 11 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Dragons in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Wuhan left bottom position moving up to fifteenth place, which they share with Heilongjiang and Tianjin. It was Dragons' eleventh loss in a row. Wuhan will play against higher ranked Beijing Great Wall (#7) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Dragons will play against Swordfish (#5) in Shanghai to get more than just one victory in their record.
